Recently a friend of mine shared the name of an exquisite vintage boutique in Brighton, England. Pretty Eccentric, http://www.prettyeccentric.co.uk/#, sports an array of vintage clothing, handbags, accessories, and more. The styles range from steam punk to fascinators, an eclectic mix as is custom for vintage wear and while the website doesn’t seem to be as extensive, I have heard quite the review of the range of excellent vintage products.
As a lover of vintage products myself, it’s always important to ask what makes “old clothes” vintage and how can vintage be fashion when the definition of fashion must include novelty or newness. With vintage, perhaps they must start out as “fashion” clothes and return as in fashion and “new” designs for younger generations.
