Yesterday as I walked through Prague with some friends on the way to a museum, we came across a store called Skunk Funk (apparently a Spanish brand that originated in the 1990’s – see the Prague store site at http://www.skunkfunk.cz/). My heart just about stopped seeing the trademark UN shoes in the window and we couldn’t help but go in.

I fawned over the United Nude shoe collection (http://www.unitednude.com/), which was the biggest collection I’ve ever seen in person of their shoes, while my friends found some great clothes on sale. I’ll have to go back soon if I can get the chance because I’m afraid I might have missed out on the actual clothing brand of the store, but I had a lot of fun. And the store clerk let me take pictures! I’ll definitely have to keep a lookout for the Skunk Funk brand and stores in the future. I already have a passion for Desigual design and Skunk Funk seems to be upholding the high bar set by Spanish designers.

I was dying to try them on but on a student's budget couldn't begin to handle the cost for a pair of rather frivolous heels.
